For jobs such as that of Material Handler, you will be required to use a PC or RF-based systems to perform tasks. For weights over 50 lbs, assistance will be provided for lifting duties. For jobs such as Dockworker, prior warehouse experience is preferred though not necessary. You must be at least 18 years old in order to work at FedEx distribution centers. The working hours might vary according to operational needs. For working as a material handler, you will require a High School diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience in the related field. Material Handling also requires you to have a forklift certification.
